Balance These 5 Hormones for OPTIMAL Fat Loss

We know that food and exercise are key to losing weight.  “Calories in, calories out” has been drilled into our brains.  Although this is still true, it’s not as easy as simply cutting down on your portion sizes.  The quality and type of food you’re taking in, as well as your quality of sleep and ability to manage stress, affect how your hormones regulate. 

 

Even though a Sonic hot dog is only 100 calories, it is not giving your body any beneficial nutrients to help it function and is considered “empty” calories.  When you eat crap, you’re going to feel like crap.  When you put yourself last on your list of priorities, you’re going to feel like crap.  When your sleep is inconsistent and/or only receiving 4-6 hours of R&R every night, you’re going to feel like crap.     

 

Breaking unhealthy addictions is going to be the hardest part in regulating your hormones.  This takes time and patience as it’s not going to be a straight uphill climb.  The more you educate yourself on WHY you need to make a change and continue to remind yourself of your WHY, the more likely you will stick with it.  Let’s get educated about some hormones shall we?!
